Noise and Nuisances
As a short-term rental guest, it is important to be respectful and mindful of surrounding residents. Accordingly, please do not:
make, cause or permit an unreasonable noise or noise that is likely to disturb an inhabitant of the Town of Fort Erie, such as noise caused by bells, horns, sirens, radio, television, and other electronic devices, yelling, shouting, swearing, and persistently by domestic pets; and
attract and/or feed animals domesticated or otherwise in such a way that it causes damage or otherwise creates a nuisance or disturbance to another person or another person property
When parking at the short-term rental, please:
only park in spaces that have been designated by the short-term rental operator and;
when permitted, on-street in spaces located adjacent to the property

Open Air Burning
If conducting a recreational open air burn (outdoor fire) be sure to:
burn materials provided or indicated by the short-term rental operator in the designated burn area;
attend, control, and supervise the fire at all times, and ensure that the fire is extinguished before vacating and;
conduct burns in permissive weather, where wind speeds do not exceed 20 km per hour, it is not rainy or foggy, and a smog or fire ban alert has not been declared.
Garbage and Recyclables Collection
It is important to dispose of garbage and recyclables in an accurate and responsible manner. Garbage and recycling must be curbside by 7:00 am on the collection date and no earlier than 5:00 pm the day before.
Please confirm the following items with your short-term rental operator:
the garbage collection date;
where the garbage is to be stored until collection day and;
your garbage responsibilities upon vacating the premises
Guests are not permitted outside sleeping accommodation on the short-term rental property
